The Kommandant's Girl Reading and Book Signing
Monday, October 29 at 7:30 PM
Pam Jenoff, author of The Kommandant's Girl, will read a selection from her book and discuss the inspiration for this novel about Holocaust resistance set in Nazi-occupied Krakow. Ms. Jenoff served as vice consul for the US State Department in Krakow, Poland from 1996-1998. Blending her own experience and impressions of the city with historic events of the period, she creates a fictional tale of bravery and resistance set against the dramatic backdrop of World War II.
