Sylvia and Stanley Leven CLE Program for Attorneys

Gratz College and CLE, it’s a perfect match!

As the oldest independent college of Jewish studies in North America, Gratz is committed to promoting the tradition of ongoing Jewish learning, as well as meeting the needs of Jewish professionals. Judaism is a culture based on Halacha (law). Its sacred texts contain ordinances for nearly every facet of life. Gratz’s Continuing Legal Education programs are an opportunity to study one of the earliest bodies of law known to humanity and compare it to the modern American justice system.

Gratz College CLE courses span all areas of practice, and many seminars include ethics credit. Eminent attorneys are invited to speak on topics of current interest along with Gratz professors in a heimishe (friendly) yet academic and dynamic environment. Some participants have remarked that Gratz CLEs remind them of their best law school experiences. Most CLE programs take place in the Tuttleman Library at Gratz College on the Mandell Campus in Melrose Park, PA. Here, the bagel and lox breakfast and free parking are just an added bonus. Some courses are hosted by large firms in Center City, as well as synagogues on the Main Line. Classes are usually offered in the months preceeding each PA CLE filing deadline: April, August and December. Gratz College is also a regular provider of Bridge the Gap for newly admitted attorneys. Gratz College and CLE, it's a perfect match!

Gratz College is a private, independent PA CLE accredited provider.

Gratz College welcomes all CLE participants, regardless of religious affiliation.
