Eli Wise, M.L.S.

Eliezer M. Wise has been the Director of the Tuttleman Library since 2001. Eli came to us after serving as Library Director of the Mordecai M. Kaplan Library of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. He is no stranger to Gratz College. He previously served as Associate Librarian for Technical Services at the library when it was at the Gratz College location on Tabor Road. He has been active professionally having served various offices in the former local chapter of the Association of Jewish Libraries as well as participating in national conventions of the Association through giving workshops, serving on panels, as well as presenting a paper. The most recent workshop was an in service course at the 2002 national convention of AJL. The topic was, "Use of Rabbinic Sources." Eli received his B.A. in History from Yeshiva University and Master of Library Science degree from Pratt Institute. Eli lives with his wife Rachel, son Dovid, and daughter Dini in Northeast Philadelphia.
