Rabbi Judd Kruger Levingston, Ph.D., is the Director of Jewish Studies at Jack M. Barrack (formerly Akiba) Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and of Harvard College, he has taught at a boarding school, at an Episcopal school, at Jewish day schools, and at single-sex schools for boys and for girls. He has taught religion and education as an adjunct instructor at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, at Temple University and at Gratz College, and he is the author of Sowing the Seeds of Character: The Moral Education of Adolescents in Public and Private Schools (Praeger, 2009). He and his family live in Philadelphia.
