Michael Schatz is the Director of JOLT: Jewish Online Learning for Teens, and the Branch Director of the Western Branch at Barrack  in Gratz’s Jewish Community High School.   Michael is an adjunct instructor in Jewish Education in Gratz College.  Michael has worked in various formal and informal Jewish educational settings for over twenty years.  He holds an AB in Jewish Studies from Vassar College, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Arcadia University, and an M.A.Jed. from Gratz College.  In addition, he is an Ed.D. candidate (ABD) in Jewish Education at Gratz College, and a national vice president of the Jewish Educators Assembly.  Michael is among the first Jewish educators in the nation to hold the title “Conservative Jewish Educator” (CJE) from the Jewish Educators Assembly.
