Richard Lederman holds a BA in Religion and a Ph.D. in Ancient Near Eastern Languages and Literature. He has worked in Jewish communal service for 20 years, most recently as Director of Public Policy and Social Action for the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. He currently serves as adjunct professor teaching courses in Bible, Religion and Comparative Mythology at Georgetown University and Montgomery College in Maryland.
