Sean Martin, Ph.D.

Sean Martin, Associate Curator for Jewish History at Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio, holds a doctorate in history from Ohio State University. He is the author of Jewish Life in Cracow, 1918-1939 (2004), a contributor to the YIVO Encyclopedia of Jews in Eastern Europe, and the author of additional articles about the Jewish experience in Poland. He has taught courses on the history of the Holocaust at Kent State University, Case Western Reserve University, and John Carroll University. His current research focuses on the history of Jewish child welfare in Poland.
