Applicants are responsible for compiling all of the components of the application and sending the completed application packet to:

All parts of the application should be typed or printed in ink. Your application must have your signature in order to be considered complete. Only completed application packets will be reviewed. The completed application for graduate programs must include the following items:
Application Form
The application form requires fundamental information about the candidate. If additional space is needed, feel free to attach additional pages. Complete the form and sign the application.
Application Fee
A non-refundable processing fee of $50 is required with the applications for admission to graduate programs. Please make your check or money order payable to Gratz College and include it with the application packet. Do not send cash. Please print your name and social security number on the front of the check or money order.
Transcripts & Transfer Credits
Official transcript(s) should be requested from each undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended and mailed directly to you. Transcripts are accepted as official when they are received in their original sealed envelopes. Return the transcript(s) in their sealed envelope(s), along with all other admission requirements.
A written request for transfer credits should be included in the application packet. The request letter should show the course, the grade and a course description of the transfer credits being requested. Official sealed transcript for the requested credits and the course description(s) should also be included. Transfer credits can be applied only to the elective core.
Two Letters of Recommendation
Please request letters of recommendation from two supervisors or mentors who can evaluate your academic performance, relevant work experience, and/or ability to pursue graduate study.
Supply one Request for Letter of Recommendation form and one self-addressed envelope to each recommender. Explain to each recommender that the completed recommendation form and the letter of recommendation is to be placed in the envelope, which is then to be sealed, signed, and returned to you.
An indication to the recommenders of an expected date of return may encourage promptness on their part. The unopened envelopes should be returned with your completed application.
Copy of Certification
A copy of all teaching certificates (if applicable) must be mailed in with the completed application packet.
Personal Statement
A personal statement by the student typed on a separate sheet must be included with all completed applications. Questions to be answered by the personal statement are detailed in page one of the application form.
Resume
A copy of an updated resume must be submitted with the application packet for the application to be complete.
