The Judith Netzky Memorial Fellowship Award

Requirements: They must be either permanent residents of Philadelphia or enrolled in a Philadelphia-area college or university. This award is not available to individuals who are already employed in Jewish communal service or education, or to those enrolled in a rabbinical or cantorial program.

Performing Arts Scholarship

These grants are available to undergraduate and graduate students who are teachers in supplementary schools in greater Philadelphia. Gertrude Levy Israel Study Scholarship Fund

Grants are available to graduate and undergraduate students pursuing accredited academic programs in Israel. These one-time only grants are available to students based on academic performance and need. A letter of application including a description of the proposed program of study and the cost should be submitted to Dr. Jerome Kutnick, Dean for Academic Affairs.

Paul Douglas Teacher Scholarship Program (For undergraduates only)

The Paul Douglas Teacher Scholarship is a Federally funded college financial aid program administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) to encourage academically talented students who are in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class to enter the preschool, elementary or secondary teaching fields. Recipients are selected from eligible applicants on the basis of academic achievement and recommendations of school officials and must sign an agreement to teach in a pre-school, elementary or secondary school for a period of not less than two years for each year for which he or she received a Paul Douglas Teacher Scholarship.
