Wireless Internet Access
Gratz College provides wireless internet access throughout its building including the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Faculty Wing, the Joseph Abramson Family Administrative Wing, the Tuttleman Library, the Jewish Community High School and the Fisher Lobby. The wireless network allows students and visitors a convenient way to check their email, print school work, complete assignments and access the Tuttleman Library's online catalog and search resources.
Student Computer Lab
The student computer lab is located on the second floor of the building in the lobby of the Tuttleman Jewish Public Library. Additional computers are also located in the Elsie and William Chomsky Reading Room as well as the Library Stacks.
All computers are Intel Pentium IV desktops with the following programs and features:
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Hebrew Language Pack and Hebrew Keyboard
- Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Davka Writer Platinum
- Adobe Reader 8
- Internet Explorer with access to the World Wide Web
- OPAC / Mandarin (Electronic Library Catalog)
- FirstSearch (OCLC Database)
- Encyclopedia Judaica (Online)
- Black and White Laser Printer Access
Laptop Work Areas
Located in both the Tuttleman Library Stacks as well as the Office of Student Life are laptop work areas. These desks are equipped with conveniently located power access as well as Ethernet cables to access the wired network. Whether you decide to work wirelessly or wired, all computers inside the building are able to print to the black and white laser printer located in the lobby of the Tuttleman Library.
