This selected list is intended to give you Judaica web sites that can meet you bibliographic needs. We recognize that accessing materials in the computer age have gone beyond the walls of any library. The Tuttleman Library recognizes its bibliographic responsibility to assist readers beyond our facility.

  • www.bibliomaven.com - Judaica Libraries and Archives on the Web
  • www.eparsha.com - This is appropriately named the Electronic Torah Warehouse. It covers a wide range o text related topics ranging from Torah commentary, Jewish law, translations, and much more.
  • www.hebcal.com - This site has several Jewish calendar tools. One can generate a calendar of Jewish holidays for any year, get candle lighting times, convert Hebrew date to secular date and vice versa, generate a Yahrzeit, birthday and anniversary calendar, and create a weekly breakdown of the aliyot in each Torah reading.
  • www.j.co.il  - Jewish Education and Entertainment – There are many things of interest for children.
  • www.jewfaq.org  - This site is called Judaism 101- it is an excellent primer originally created for people who have little or no knowledge of Judaism.
  • www.jewishencyclopedia.com - The Jewish Encyclopedia that was published in the early twentieth century. It is still considered a very scholarly work. The web site has a search engine for the encyclopedia
  • www.jewishgen.org - The most important web site for Jewish genealogy research.
  • www.jewishvirtualibrary.org - A rich Jewish resource that includes history, statistical information, and more.
  • www.jlaw.com - An extensive site on Jewish law as well as case summaries on litigations that relate to Jewish law and Jews.
  • www.jta.org   - Daily bulletin of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency
  • www.kashrut.com - The Premier Kosher Information Resource on the INTERNET
  • www.maven.co.il   - General Search Engine for many popular Jewish communal and academic web sites

  • www.torah.org   - This web site cover a wide range of topics in Bible and Rabbinic Literature on beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
