The Diploma in Jewish Studies is the highest and most prestigious degree that can be earned at JCHS. This program is intended for students who will complete a full five-year academic program of at least two days of study per week, plus extra programs either within or as transfers to JCHS.

Upon graduating with a JCHS Diploma, students will possess knowledge of Jewish sources; appreciation of Jewish values; familiarity with Israel, Hebrew language skills, Bible, literature, Jewish life, contemporary teen issues, social studies, etc. The Diploma testifies to a readiness to pursue Jewish studies on the college level.

 The JCHS Diploma represents a commitment to one's Jewish education by taking a variety of courses over time. The diploma can be earned by attending our program for the equivalent of two days a week (including Service Learning courses) over a period of five years. Students will have taken courses in Judaica and Hebrew.
