How to Apply for Financial Assistance
Thank you for contacting Gratz College about your student loans. If you need any further assistance, please contact Karen West, Director of Financial Aid, by phone at 215-635-7300 ext. 163 or email.
Please complete the following steps in applying for financial assistance:
- You must apply for a pin number if you do not already have one.
- When you have your pin number, fill out a FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will then receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) back from the Department of Education. This is required before you can apply for Federal Loans. When you fill out the FAFSA you will need our school code (004058); this will ensure that we receive a copy or your SAR.
- You are required to do a Stafford Entrance Interview online at www.mappingyourfuture.org. An email will be sent to us when you have completed it, so that we can certify your loan.
- For your loans, you can go to www.aessuccess.org to apply for Federal Stafford Loans (MPN).
We require copies of the following for the verification process.
- Your Drivers License
- Your Social Security card
- Your signed 2008 Federal tax returns
- A completed and signed verification form (will be sent to you by our office.)
