I'm happy to report that we have arrived safely in Israel, tired from a ten hour flight but excited at the prospect of an exhilirating trip!  We were met at the airport by our dynamic tour guide Guy and our medic / security officer Omri, both of whom welcomed us warmly with snacks and smiles.  We write from the brand new Yitzhak Rabin Center in downtown Tel Aviv, where for the next few hours we'll take a tour, have a discussion and eat lunch before heading to a relaxing afternoon at the beach.
