The Jewish community is seeing an increased demand for teachers and administrators in day and supplementary schools, Jewish summer camps, youth organizations and other institutions. Gratz College is preparing the next generations of educators who, in turn, will mold future generations of Jewish students of all ages.
The undergraduate certificate is designed for those seeking a first credential in the field of Jewish Education. The certificate is designed to raise the level of Jewish knowledge and teaching skills of those already teaching or those desiring to teach in supplementary schools who have little or no formal background in Jewish Studies or Jewish Education
