Dr. Loomis currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching in the doctoral program in Educational Leadership and supervising dissertations. He has held faculty appointments with Penn State University, Drexel University and Neumann University. Loomis holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Penn State and has over 40 years of leadership experience in higher education and government, holding the positions of program director, dean, special assistant to the Provost and executive director. Early in his career, Loomis served as a senior civil rights specialist with the U.S. Department of Education, investigating complaints of discrimination on the basis of race, gender and disability. Loomis has served as a consultant to a variety of organizations in the United States, Egypt and Tanzania. His academic interests include leadership development, ethics, strategic planning, workforce and career development, regulatory compliance and online learning.
