Leadership

Gratz College is guided by a dedicated leadership team whose vision, scholarship, and commitment to community anchor the institution’s mission. President Zev Eleff is the twelfth president of Gratz College and one of the youngest leaders in American higher education. His leadership reflects Gratz’s historic dedication to academic rigor, pluralism, and meaningful engagement across diverse Jewish and interfaith communities.

Working in close alignment with the Office of the President is Dean Leslie Ginsparg Klein, who welcomes students into a vibrant and inclusive learning environment rooted in rigorous online education. The Dean champions an academic experience that blends intellectual inquiry with mentorship, community connectedness, and a commitment to ethical leadership.

This collaborative governance structure is supported by the Board of Governors, which provides essential oversight of the College—selecting the president, shaping institutional policy, and stewarding Gratz’s resources. Together, these leadership bodies ensure that Gratz College remains a forward thinking institution where scholarship, innovation, and communal responsibility thrive.
