The Continuing Education department at Gratz College provides stimulating and engaging educational opportunities for adults. Our offerings include life-long learning courses, conversational Hebrew and Yiddish language classes and professional development for attorneys. Monthly "lunch and learns" and webinars offer the community a taste of the Gratz experience. Programs and events are often offered in-person, online, or both. Other programming includes special events, distinguished scholar lecturers, cultural trips and author talks — including the One Book, One Jewish Community program.
Our faculty are highly regarded experts in their fields. Most of our professors currently teach graduate level courses at institutes of higher learning. Several have taught at Gratz for many years, while others have recently brought their talents and unique perspectives to our community.
The typical Gratz continuing education student already has multiple higher education degrees and is looking for an engaging, thoughtful and purposeful experience. Find what you're looking for at Gratz. Get to know us!

focus on Faculty
The Gratz College learning community is shaped by our amazing faculty. Our instructors come from a variety of educational spaces including schools, arts organizations and state agencies. As facilitators of the learning process, their goal is to inspire students towards reflection and deep thinking about teaching and learning. They share a passion for education, and view their role as collaborators in providing applicable course content and resources, and helping students to connect this learning to their individual teaching practices.
