Have you always wanted to learn the Hebrew language? Are you traveling to Israel soon? Gratz offers modern conversational Hebrew in easy-to-digest, low commitment 12-week enrichment sessions by the Continuing Education department. Classes are currently offered in an online format.
Fall classes are 12 weeks: $360.
All classes currently take place online using the Zoom platform.

BEGINNERS
The student will learn present and past tenses. S/he will acquire a vocabulary of approximately 300 words and gain familiarity with basic sentence structure.

ADVANCED BEGINNER
This class is currently reading basic beginner level Hebrew. Conversation involves using a combination of past and present tense verbs. Writing is mostly script, with occasional use of block print. New vocabulary is introduced throughout each class.

INTERMEDIATE
The student will develop stronger verbal skills and learn to conduct typical conversations in day-to-day situations. Prerequisite: Hebrew II or equivalent

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
The student will learn the declension of nouns and prepositions and master the most functional grammatical items necessary for Hebrew conversation. S/he will attain the ability to read easy Hebrew newspapers and short stories.

ADVANCED CONVERSATION
The student will continue to develop Hebrew language skills. The class will be conducted entirely in Hebrew in order to make students completely fluent.
