Conversational Language Offerings: Summer 2026

Have you always wanted to learn the Hebrew language? Are you traveling to Israel soon? Gratz offers modern conversational Hebrew in easy-to-digest, low commitment 6-week enrichment sessions by the Continuing Education department. 

Online Sessions

BEGINNERS HEBREW (Online 6 Sessions)
This Hebrew course focuses on Introducing the Hebrew alphabet, functional grammar, basic vocabulary for daily life and basic sentence structures. The goal is to setup a solid base for the communication skills of reading unvocalized text, writing and basic conversation.

ADVANCED BEGINNERS HEBREW (Online 6 Sessions)
The student will develop stronger verbal skills and learn to conduct typical conversations in day-to-day situations.

The student will develop stronger verbal skills and learn to conduct typical conversations in day-to-day situations.

INTERMDIATE/ADVANCED HEBREW (Online 6 Sessions)
The student will learn the declension of nouns and prepositions and master the most functional grammatical items necessary for Hebrew conversation. S/he will attain the ability to read easy Hebrew newspapers and short stories.

ADVANCED HEBREW (Online 6 Sessions)
The student will continue to develop Hebrew language skills. The class will be conducted entirely in Hebrew in order to make students completely fluent.

ADVANCED HEBREW (Online 6 Sessions)
This class consists of three parts: conversation in Hebrew, a review of the new vocabulary used during conversation in the previous class, a lesson in language- challenges the students have had during our sessions and reading for vocabulary and comprehension.
