Master of Arts in Education (MAEd)

Gratz College continues its tradition and history of providing innovative online education programs and expanding offerings to meet the needs of teachers and professionals seeking to advance their careers.

Gratz College offers an online Master of Arts in Education program (M.A.Ed.) designed for students who seek advanced study in contemporary pedagogy and educational leadership.  In addition to P-12 teachers, the program is also beneficial for persons who work in the areas of instructional design, educational training, organizational development in business, government, and higher education institutions and non-profit agencies. Our online college experience caters to the hectic schedules of working professionals by offering part-time and online options in an accelerated format.

Gratz College’s online M.A.Ed. program is affordable. Our tuition rate is just $410 per credit for both in-state and out-of-state residents.

Three required courses for all concentrations:
•    EDU 516 Principles in Instructional Design
•    EDU 518 Legal & Ethical Issues in the 21st Century Classroom*
•    EDU 522 Effective Learning Assessment
*ECE Track requires EDU 553 Child Development Prenatal through Grade Four in lieu of EDU 518  
Most concentrations have 5* core courses (*ECE has 6) and 2* electives (*ECE has 1 elective). See the curriculum map for more information.
