  • ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is a digital collection of over 5,400 seminal books in the humanities and related social sciences. These titles are presented in collaboration with more than 120 publishers and Michigan Publishing.

  • ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and research. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. Content includes journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, dissertations and theses, and books dating back to 1966.
• Google Scholar
  • Google Scholar searches across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Searches in Google Scholar return results without most of the commercial websites that fill normal web searches. (NO PASSWORD NEEDED)
• HeinOnline
  • HeinOnline is a premier online database containing more than 186 million pages and 287,000 titles of historical and government documents. HeinOnline bridges an important research gap by providing comprehensive coverage from inception of more than 2,800 law-related periodicals. In addition to its vast collection of academic journals, HeinOnline contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register, and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports back to 1754, and entire databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents, and much more.

• ProQuest Theses and Dissertations Global
  • PQDT Global offers millions of works from thousands of universities. Full-text coverage spans from 1743 to the present, with citation coverage dating back to 1637.

• Holocaust Oral History Archive 
  • The Archive houses one of the largest collections of audio-taped testimony in the U.S, including interviews with nearly 900 survivors, liberators, resistance force members, those in hiding, rescuers, and other witnesses to the persecution and extermination of the Nazi era, 1933-1945. Special groupings include the testimonies of "Kindertransport" children sheltered in England, the 1985 Gathering of Holocaust Survivors, the 1991 and 1999 Rickshaw Reunions of Shanghai Survivors, and the Vilna Ghetto Fighters. The Archive also documents Jewish cultural life in pre-Nazi Europe via unpublished memoirs, letters, diaries, photographs, memorial books and survivor registers. 
• Rebecca Gratz Digital Collection
  • In memory of Prof. Dianne Ashton, this freely accessible Collection contains scans and searchable transcriptions of over 800 letters to and from Rebecca Gratz, the leading Jewish woman of nineteenth century American Judaism. Rebecca Gratz’s letters are critical to meaningful understanding of Jewish womanhood, education, social welfare, as well as the Jewish experience during the Civil War – to list just a few areas. This searchable and centralized digital platform curates important historical artifacts — as well as the provenance and related metadata for each entry in the Digital Collection.

  • Since 2020 Rabbi Dr. Abraham Skorka honored Gratz by agreeing to serve as the Visiting Distinguished Professor of Jewish Studies at Gratz College. He has taught in the graduate program in Interfaith Leadership, led by Dr. Ruth Sandberg and recorded various interviews for our collection
