Certificates, Microcredentials, and Endorsements

Gratz has a variety of ways to further your professional development and increase your earning potential. Master's Plus Certificates are perfect for those who already have a master's degree, and want to climb the salary ladder at school. PA Endorsements are helpful in gaining insight into new and emerging areas of learning. Microcredentials offer customized learning in smaller stackable skillsets.

The 8 week, asynchronous courses will offer students active learning opportunities to reflect on their teaching practice, share insights, learn with each other, and take new ideas back to their instructional spaces.

Guided by the principle of Tikkun Olam, the program advocates for learning that matters, for transformative potential in education, and for advancing the ideas of equity, inclusion and social action.

  • Masters Plus 
    Students may take any courses of their choice from the Master's level education course selection. Students typically take in 15, 30, 45 or 60 credit blocks, but can take any number to fit their professional goals.

ENDORSEMENTS

For students in Pennsylvania, Gratz now offers the following endorsements. Endorsements highlight knowledge in new and emerging areas of teaching and learning. Students who hold an existing PA Level I or Level II certificate will be eligible for this with the completion of the four courses and the completion of both 25 hours of appropriate field work and the learning portfolio to identify, document and analyze this work.

PHILIP MOORE, Ed.D.


Meet Our Faculty

The Gratz College learning community is shaped by our amazing faculty. Our instructors come from a variety of educational spaces including schools, arts organizations and state agencies. As facilitators of the learning process, their goal is to inspire students towards reflection and deep thinking about teaching and learning. They share a passion for education, and view their role as collaborators in providing applicable course content and resources, and helping students to connect this learning to their individual teaching practices.
