Ilana Gildenblatt-Nadel

Ilana grew up in Cincinnati and began attending overnight camp (URJ Goldman Union Camp Institute) at the age of 10.  After the first summer, she was hooked returning each year, even after she was married! She believes that every child (and adult if possible) should go to camp as it one of the few places that you can truly be yourself, grow as an individual, be a valued part of a community, and make life long friends, all while having the time of your life!

She currently lives happily in Cincinnati Ohio with her husband, son Cole, daughter Sarit, two dachshunds CJ & Toby, and mom Pam (it's awesome having Grandma with us!!).

During the day, she works in Operations at the Mayerson JCC overseeing the campus safety, security, and emergency preparedness as well as development administration.  Her favorite camp activity is evening program and favorite camp meal is grilled out burgers with extra pickles and potato chips on the bun!
