Design + Thinking = Innovative Learning Experiences

Design Thinking puts human needs at the center of what people do. An innovative, creative process, it prepares teachers to design and develop new lessons and/or revamp curricula and materials to render them ripe with Jewish content and reflective of learners’ needs. This course will explore key components of Design Thinking such as leading with empathy, challenging assumptions, experimentation, and sharing what one learns to arrive at innovative solutions. Participants will engage in a collaborative process of innovative planning to improve their own teaching. This course is appropriate for education directors and teachers with several years of experience or some background in education.
