Inquiry-Based Learning Using Pesach, Lag B’Omer and Shavuot

Prepare to boost student engagement, trigger curiosity and make meaning while celebrating Pesach, Lag B’Omer and Shavuot in the classroom. Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process by creating their own questions, searching for answers and, ultimately, presenting what they have learned. IBL is regarded as a best practice in both Jewish tradition and contemporary research. Participants will understand how to develop lesson plans in the modality of IBL, and will also receive adaptable sample lesson plans and resources.
