Integrating Jewish Mindfulness into Your Classroom

Mindfulness meditation is scientifically proven to help lower stress levels, improve energy and focus, and allow the practitioner to be more present. As students cope with pressure from parents, peers, school and society, it is important to provide them with practical tools that can help them ground themselves. Course participants will learn and practice meditation and mindfulness techniques as well as gratitude exercises, all through a Jewish lens, and learn ways to integrate these practices into the classroom. The skills of practicing and facilitating Jewish mindfulness can benefit the teacher both personally and professionally.
