How do you keep students’ phones from being a distraction? You make them a center for creative expression! We will learn how to empower students to use their own phones to create graphics, videos, & multi-media stories that highlight connections between their Jewish learning and daily life. Through our own experimentation and play, we will create samples that show students how to use Adobe Spark Post and Adobe Spark Video smartphone applications to communicate Jewish ideas and learning in creative ways. We will also explore classroom management structures, rooted in Jewish values, that guide smartphone uses in the classroom. No prior experience with Adobe Spark products is necessary. You will need ongoing access to a desktop, laptop, iOS device or Chromebook & an account with Adobe Spark.
Note: These same principles can be used on laptops if students do not have their own phones/devices.
