Adjunct Instructor Non-Profit Management

Allan Glazerman has over 25 years executive level not-for-profit experience supporting Jewish community organizations and synagogues ranging in size from 600 to 1500 families. He is currently the Executive Director of Congregation Or Tzion in Scottsdale, Arizona, one of the leading conservative synagogues in the Southwest. 
 
Prior to joining the Or Tzion staff, Allan served congregations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, San Antonio, Texas, Sydney, Australia, Marietta, Georgia, and Fair Lawn, NJ.  He has overseen and advised numerous committees, including Personnel, Fund-raising, Budget and Finance, Membership, Dues Adjustments, and Collections. Earlier in his career he taught philosophy and then transitioned to Senior Adult camping, becoming the Director of the Block and Hexter Vacation Center.
 
Allan received his MBA from Kennesaw State University, his M.A. from Syracuse University, and his B.A. from the City College of New York. He has served on philosophy faculties at Syracuse University, The Pennsylvania State University, Bishop College, and the Dallas County Community College System. He has been with Gratz since 2005, teaching on-line courses in synagogue management, Jewish nonprofit management, and organizational behavior.
