Adjunct Professor in Nonprofit Management

Dr. Choukroun is Managing Director, Park/Mathieson Group Inc. In this capacity, he assists clients in the areas of strategy, business planning and organizational change, and leads seminars for executives and managers in the United States and abroad.
His current academic affiliations include Affiliated Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, where he lectures in the Organizational Dynamics Graduate Program and in the Wharton School Executive Education Division, Adjunct Faculty in the LeBow College of Business programs at Drexel University and Adjunct Faculty in the Healthcare MBA Program at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. He had previously served as a full-time member of the Wharton School faculty, including a term as Social Systems Sciences Department Co-Chairman, and has been a guest lecturer at a number of institutions in the United States and abroad.
Over his professional career, Dr. Choukroun has worked for private companies in a variety of industries, for government agencies and not-for-profit organizations in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Representative US and international clients include Boeing, Celgene Corporation, Alstom, Evonik Industries, Nokia, Merck, Eli Lilly, Coca-Cola (Turkey), McCormick, Newell Rubbermaid, Sunoco, American Express, Hewlett Packard, Anheuser-Busch Cos., Exxon Mobil, General Electric, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson, LabCorp, Albert Einstein Health Network, United States Postal Service, Transport Canada, the City of Philadelphia, The Pew Charitable Trusts and various cultural and social services organizations.
Recent consulting assignments in the United States and abroad have been in the areas of strategy formulation and execution, project leadership, marketing and branding strategy and business planning. Executive and management development seminars have included strategic and systems thinking, strategy execution, project leadership, competitive analysis, and finance for non-financial managers. He also regularly oversees, advises and coaches applied learning projects as lead instructor/thinking partner in executive development programs.
Dr. Choukroun holds Ph.D., M.A. and Master in City Planning (MCP) degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique of Paris, France. He is fluent in English and French.
