Graduate Certificate in Jewish Christian Studies
Graduate Certificate in Jewish-Christian Studies
The graduate Certificate in Jewish-Christian Studies is a first credential that offers a comparative approach to Judaism’s relationship with Christianity from ancient times to today. The Certificate also gives students a foundation for further work in Jewish-Christian relations and interfaith dialogue and understanding.
This program is offered jointly with St. Joseph’s College of Maine to provide Christian students with a Jewish perspective on Jewish-Christian relations. Our pluralistic outlook allows all points of view to be expressed, without being restricted by specific religious teachings or dogmas. Gratz students also have the option of taking electives on Christianity through St. Joseph's College of Maine.
St. Joseph's students apply for the certificate at their own college and register through the college sponsoring the requested course. St. Joseph's students should contact the Gratz registrar to take Gratz courses.
Gratz College students should contact admissions for more information.
