Invest your PA tax dollars in tomorrow's leaders

Individuals and businesses can claim a 90% state income tax credit and a 10% itemized charitable contribution by donating to Gratz College through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

For example, a $10,000 contribution to Gratz College results in a $9,000 tax credit -- making this truly a win-win for donors and students!

*with the exception of donors electing anonymity.

How will my contribution make an impact?

Contributions support the transformation of the College's new Bala Cynwyd campus into Gratz Commonspace, a community learning hub featuring highly interactive educational programs for Pennsylvania public school students and their teachers. These high-impact programs build bridges and combat hate using technology, media, and the arts:

  • Holocaust and Antisemitism Studies: the annual Youth Symposium on the Holocaust, Mordechai Anielewicz Creative Arts Competition, and other programs throughout the school year engage secondary school students in high quality learning experiences focused on Holocaust and Antisemitism. Offerings include Dimensions in Testimony, an advanced holographic technology enabling conversations with survivors; the Six Million Voices Auschwitz Tour; and an online virtual reality tour of Anne Frank's Secret Annex.
  • Fellowship for Emerging Leaders: a forum for Jewish and African American students to build community while studying identity, history, and pursuits for social justice.
  • Advanced Coursework: through partnerships with school districts and organizations, high school students can earn college credit and/or satisfy graduation requirements through enrollment in select Gratz courses.
  • Grayzel Digital Platform: an archival treasury of never-before-seen writings of Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel; one of the earliest collection of Holocaust survivor testimonials; Rebecca Gratz’s letters; and documentation of the historical relationship between Jewish and African American communities.

Is there a minimum contribution?

The minimum contribution for individuals and businesses participating is $5,000. A two-year commitment is preferred.
