Gratz College launches the Contemporary Antisemitism Studies Association (CASA)

In partnership with the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism (LCSCA) and the Comper Center for the Study of Antisemitism and Racism at the University of Haifa, Gratz College has launched a groundbreaking global association dedicated to advancing the field of contemporary antisemitism studies.

David Barak-Gorodetsky
Dr David Barak-Gorodetsky is Head of the Elizabeth and Tony Comper Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Antisemitism and Racism and Director of the Ruderman Program for American-Jewish Studies at the University of Haifa. His work spans Jewish-American history, Israel-Diaspora relations and contemporary antisemitism, with a particular focus on technology, AI and political theology.

Ayal Feinberg
Dr. Ayal Feinberg is Director of the Center for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights at Gratz College, where he oversees the world’s largest Holocaust and Genocide Studies graduate program. He created the country’s first graduate program in Antisemitism Studies and the world’s first doctoral program in applied Antisemitism Studies. His work on antisemitism, hate crime, and human rights bridges research, policy, and practice, informing responses across academic, public, legal, and institutional settings.

David Hirsh
Professor David Hirsh is Academic Director and CEO of the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and Professor of Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London. His work on contemporary antizionism and its relationship to antisemitism has shaped academic, public and policy debates on antisemitism, democracy and human rights.
