Gratz College was chosen by the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity to host and curate a digital archive dedicated to the life’s work of Elie Wiesel--Nobel laureate, author of Night, and one of the most important human rights leaders in modern world history. Hear from Gratz's Department of Digital scholarship who is sorting and digitizing the collection to publish on our new digital platform Grayzel. Director Alison Joseph and Archivist Elizabeth Japha will share some of the most interesting discoveries so far. (Can anyone say letter from Kirk Douglas signed in Hebrew?) Get a glimpse of the treasures found inside this important collection of Wiesel's personal papers and the workings of the Foundation.
