Fred Harran, originally from New York, came to Pennsylvania in 1982 to attend college and earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He has a Masters Degree from St. Joseph's University in Criminal Justice Administration.

Dr. Hecht is an occasional research consultant and currently is Program Evaluator for Academic Technology Services at Harvard University. She completed her M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Chicago and her B.A. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rabbi Hirsh, Assistant Professor of Jewish Education, is the Director of Gratz Advance, which is Gratz College's newest department. Janet Holmes was in public education for over 30 years and retired in June 2008.  She was president of the Centennial Education Association for two terms and served as grievance chairperson and membership chairperson for over 15 years.  She also was a member of the negotiating team for 30 years.
