This course prepares practitioners to teach about antisemitism in peer-based, organizational, and advocacy settings outside of formal classrooms. Students move through a complete facilitation sequence, developing personal narrative, content knowledge, and frameworks to introduce Jewish identity accessibly, explain the history of antisemitism and how it travels across ideological traditions, and engage the specific ways anti-Jewish ideas surface in Israel-Palestine discourse and contemporary public life. Students also learn engagement strategies to respond to difficult questions. For the final project, students design and deliver an introductory teaching presentation for a defined non-classroom audience.
