This course focuses on the leadership skills essential to working with external constituencies, with diverse opinions and competing interests. The importance of developing positive relationships with boards, unions, local, state, and federal officials, and other interested parties will be examined. Scenario planning for crisis and public affairs management will be constructed with a special focus on labor relations, collective bargaining and contract administration.
