EDU 543 - Designers of Learning
An Educator’s primary role is to develop curriculum that provides opportunities for students to learn course content versus the Educator just teaching the course content. This course will address how you can create powerful learning opportunities in an engaging and developmentally appropriate environment. Specific content will include deepening your understanding of integrating dispositions of learning, addressing the modalities and multiple intelligences of students, and designing curriculum, an engaging environment, and age appropriate assessments that are aligned with state standards. Additionally, you will explore ideas on incorporating 21st Century teaching strategies as you construct curriculum.
