Hebrew II Online continues the format of twice-a-week live webinar sessions combined with follow-up reinforcement through a 24/7 website for individual learning and review. All language skills are mastered through more advanced syntactic and grammatical structures, including past tense. Students will begin to read and write texts requiring critical thought. Hebrew texts that reflect Israeli culture and Jewish History will be read and discussed. A continuing exposure to the history and development of the Hebrew language with a special emphasis on Modern Hebrew, as well as the culture of Modern Israel is integrated throughout the course. Topics include: the family, the daily schedule, time and the seasons and clothing, travel and leisure.
