November 19: CDC releases safe Thanksgiving celebration guidelines.
November 2: Gratz College will be open as a polling location only on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
August 2: College building is open to all faculty and staff as needed. All guests MUST sign in at the front desk. PPE is available to all at the desk.
June 22: Pennsylvania reopening: The counties that have gone green and the ones still in the yellow Though Montgomery County may be shifting to the green phase of opening on Friday, June 26, Gratz College employees will remain working remotely. The building is open to limited numbers of employees who must follow all CDC safety protocols while in the building.

June 5: Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties move to yellow phase. Telework to continue where possible and schools remain closed for in-person instruction.
May 28: We are waiting to hear whether the state will move to the yellow phase on June 5, 2020
May 22: As of today’s date there has been no official word when Montgomery County will be moved to the Yellow phase.
May 7: Governor Wolf extends the stay-at-home order in the red phase until June 4th.
April 20: On April 17, 2020, Governor Wolf outlined the standards the administration will use for reopening. Today, Governor Wolf announced a target date of May 8, 2020, for the beginning of phased reopening and easing of restrictions. Click here for more info.

April 2: As we continue to abide by Federal, State, and Local pronouncements, the Gratz College building will continue to be closed through April 30, 2020.
March 31: The Commencement Ceremony has been postponed until Sunday, September 6, 2020.
March 25: As we continue to monitor and abide by the edicts of our Local, State, and Federal Governments, the Gratz College building will remain closed through next week April 3, 2020. Faculty and Staff will continue to work remotely until further notice.
March 23: Governor Wolf announces that beginning at 8 pm tonight, residents of multiple counties including Montgomery County and Philadelphia County must stay home unless life-threatening.

March 22: All guest lectures on campus are postponed. Please check the Events page for further updates. Several Continuing Education classes are operating online.
March 21: The Gratz Gala will not take place in May and is being rescheduled for the fall.
March 20: The Commencement Ceremony is being postponed until August 31st. Summer Institute will NOT be held this year on campus. Instead, courses will be incorporated into the Summer B session.
March 12: Gratz College is abiding by the decision of Governor Wolf and the Montgomery County Department of Public Health, who announced on Thursday, March 12, 2020, that all schools, including schools of higher education, and centers of gathering, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, are to be closed for 14 days starting Friday, March 13, 2020. Please note: Graduate courses and JCHS classes are continuing uninterrupted online. All faculty and staff are working remotely.
December 10: For the past 21 months, the Safety and Security Team at Gratz College has worked diligently on dealing with the challenges of COVID 19. Our primary concern has been the safety of the Gratz College community. We continue to be in contact with MONTCO Health, the CDC, and the PA Dept. of Health. We have successfully implemented many safety protocols; masking (to this day)/social distancing/contract tracing through the sign-in book/cleaning and disinfecting the building/ordering PPE etc. Be assured that we take these responsibilities seriously, and thank you for your continued cooperation.
